As the former owner/manager of Gaston Elite All Stars, Coach Billy moved to Chicago and brought great experience to Cheer Alliance with his business operations, choreography & music packed resume, his excelent track record of coaching levels 1-5 who have won titles ranging from regional to national championships, and choreographed routines that have won at UCA Nationals, CheerSport Nationals, and JamFest Super Nationals. 

Billy is a member of the NCA summer staff where he was named rookie of the year, a member of Charlotte All Stars for 2 years, and cheered at UNC-Charolette College competitive team.

Education:

My name is Roger Bernard. I was born and raised in Chicago. I attended Southern Illinois University where I obtained two degrees. I have a BA in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry and a BS in Physiology with a minor in Pharmacology.

Cheer Experience:

I cheered at SIU for 4 years. I worked for UCA for 5 years. I was an Assistant coach at Southern Illinois University for a year before moving back home to coach. I have been coaching for 6 years. I am USASF credentialled levels 1-5. I have the ability to do and teach co-ed stunts. I have helped get cheerleaders into colleges by preparing them for the transition from high school to college. My favorite color is clear :)

Coach Shannen is currently a student at NIU majoring in biology and minoring in nurtrition.  Cheered for NCAA Division I team at Northern Illinois University. Was captain of Glenbard West High School cheerleading.  With her 3rd year coaching at Cheer-Alliance, Shannen has brought her teams' jump scores to new heights!
